Everyone who takes part in our work should feel safe, respected and listened to. You do not need to be certain that something is wrong before sharing a concern.

If a child, young person or adult is in immediate danger or needs urgent medical help, contact the emergency services first.
Contact our safeguarding team
Email info@kingscentresouthall.org.uk with the subject “Safeguarding concern”. Your message will be passed promptly to the person responsible for safeguarding.
How to share a concern

Explain what happened, who is involved, when and where it happened, and any immediate risk. Do not investigate the concern yourself. - We will listen and act.
The concern should be passed to the designated safeguarding lead, recorded securely and handled under the Centre’s safeguarding procedures.
Privacy matters: do not include sensitive personal information in a general website form. We will explain the safest way to share any further details.

Safeguarding belongs in every programme.
- Clear expectations for staff, volunteers and participants.
- Appropriate checks, training and supervision.
- Simple reporting routes that young people and adults can understand.
- Secure records and careful information sharing.
- Regular review of policies and practice.
