We offer additional expertise in offering training for those who speak, read and write English as an additional language.
Myriad Pathway
What is the Myriad Pathway course?
The Kings Centre has collaborated with Myriad to provide a two year pathway course which equips lay leaders to form new church communities. The programme focuses on:

Who is the course for?
To support those who feel called to establish new expressions of the Church.

The cost of this training is free to new Lay Leaders and includes a lunchtime meal.


What is the time commitment?
Saturday 9.30-1 pm every six weeks in term time, on a two year cycle. Enquire for further details.

What Is The Myriad Training Course?
In collaboration with the Centre for Church Multiplication (CCX), The Kings Centre provides a two-year training course that inspires lay leaders to form new church communities. Lay leaders from different congregations come together to grow and learn core practices for church planting and discipleship. The Kings Centre not only provides teaching on the day but also one-to-one mentoring throughout the two-year course.

These courses are for charities, corporates, clergy groups and other organisations working in interfaith and intercultural contexts.

Activities and Funding
In addition to our courses, we offer open community programs focused on youth activities currently available to Hounslow and Southall residents. This includes:
- Football club for boys and girls starting from Year 5.
- We are working on a range of various other offers for young people.

The Kings Centre is also proud to fund small local projects in partnership with churches in Southall and Hounslow. Examples of this include:
- Developing creative expressions in faith-based contexts.
- Youth development
- Supporting refugees and asylum seekers
- Developing community spaces to facilitate engagement.
We have been pleased to offer these activities through National Church of England funding and the Benefact Trust.

What Is Faith Awareness Training?
This training takes place over one day, and its focus is to teach how to interact with faith practitioners from a variety of different faiths. How to dialogue about common interests with other faith leaders is taught, and during local visits to different faith buildings, opportunities are given to apply this learning. Training includes a cultural meal inside another faith building.
