

Cassie Bobb
Project Manager
Cassie oversees the smooth running of the Transforming Southall and Hounslow project. She has eight years of project management experience, alongside APM and Prince 2 qualifications, and she has worked in the pharmaceutical sector. She has extensive volunteer experience in church and community contexts. Cassie contributes to the development of our youth programs and supports new church communities.
Favourite Things: Enjoying exploring new restaurants, trying new foods and taking long walks.

Canon Mark Poulson
Project Lead
An ordained minister for 25 years, Mark has extensive experience in multi-ethnic urban settings and has served as the Church of England’s National Adviser for Interreligious Relations. He established The Kings Centre Southall to promote intercultural and interfaith awareness and to build capacity in youth and community work. Mark also leads the Transforming Southall and Hounslow Project, which aims to bring together churches to share the love of Jesus and to serve as a blessing to their communities.

David Marsden
Administrator & Fundraising Lead
David brings more than two decades of management experience in the voluntary and social care sectors across West London. He has qualifications in adult education and experience in employment training, social enterprise development, and mental health support projects. He is a committed and active resident of Southall. He is our administrator and fundraiser. These funds are crucial to resourcing the youth and community projects.
Favourite Things: Football, playing the guitar and campaigning for clean air in London.

Anita Beedan
Associate Director of Learning
Anita has over 25 years of experience in education, training and teaching with specialisms in diversity, equity and inclusion. She has crafted content and training programmes in culturally and religiously diverse contexts for large corporates, charities and public sector bodies as well as for schools. Born in Mumbai and raised in West London, Anita is passionate about lifelong learning. A Southall resident, she’s equally committed to facilitating engaging learning experiences for individuals and groups.
Favourite things: Chicken biriyani, the music of Taylor Swift and the writings of Arundhati Roy.

Alma Patterson
Youth Director
Alma has over 30 years of experience in youth work, community engagement, and teaching. Her experience includes both statutory and voluntary sectors. As an experienced mentor and coach, she is committed to supporting young people's personal growth. She understands the importance of social and cultural contexts and how they shape people’s lives. Alma is passionate about creating safe, inclusive spaces that encourage reflection, resilience, and meaningful connection.
